i just found a gold sephis axe, but i think i may have confused the value of a gold sephis with the value of a gold sickle. I remember there being an axe that is never found as max (or rarely). please don't call me a noob for not knowing.

gold sephis axe, 6-19, require 5, damage +13^50, enchants last 18% longer

Your hunch was right.. gold sickles are rare [or non-existant], and sephis are not.
