Henchie armor?

Ok when my hubby and I first bought this game I was looking through the book and there is a pic of a necro in there (further back then the class pics actually its on page 117) and I thought she looked cool and decided I wanted a necro (aside from the fact I always choose the necro blood life leech curses type char in any game I can; I thought she looked cool). So getting into the game I have realized the closest any set of armor comes to that pic is cultist and I honestly just don't like the looks of it. Its not the way the pic was. Getting further into the game I notices the female cultist henchie in later parts of the game has the armor I want. Other people of other professions have said the same thing. So why can't we get the henchie armor? Some of us think it looks better then we we have the option of getting. (well aside from fow lol im slowly working on that)

There are a lot of armors in the game that are *generally* unavailable. This includes armor worn by NPCs. I saw generally because there are a handful of individuals with unique armor (usually armor that was removed or replaced during beta). Anet gives this armor to special individuals -- I remember seeing a female ele with the old beta style pyromancer armor, for instance.

So to reiterate, you are out of luck. Anet feels the need to differintiate the NPCs from players with unique armor (perhaps to alleviate potential confusion?).

actually you can get the necro henchmen's armor (male one = STANDARD nonmoded necro armor). Orion (mage hench) wears the normal, standard elemental robes (nonmoded ones you craft). Same for the monks. Stefan wears chainmail. Pretty sure alesia and lina wear nonmoded monk armor.

Basically most of them wear the basic armor form the armor crafters.

Eve, Devona, Little Thom, Aidan, and Cynn I believe have unique armors.

I knew that...I was talking about the higher lvl female cultist henchie (i.e. the chick standing in grotto)
