New Pet Or Fake?!

i was looking for pet pics and i saw a ranger with some kind of white tiger or cat. wat is it? how do i get it? is it fake? here is the link http://www.guildwarsonline.com/galle...ts/large_ss_34

umm but that looks like a lynx to me.

It's a lynx, but it's white. The different color variations of pets were eliminated.

Why did they delite those pets, they look really good. What a pitty...
I really don't get that you would delete some pets. More pets is a good thing right..?

if you look in the booklet that you should have gotten with your GW box, there's a picture of a ranger with a siberian white tiger...or whatever they're called. it is a pity that they removed them from the game, though.

maybe they'll come back in faction, all the asian them, u know, tigers, elephants monkeys =DDD

monkeys would be a cool idea give them some +12 monkey bite or you should be able to ride them get around quicker would be a good option lol

Thats Gaile Gray's Lynx. Shes said a few different times in frog/gaile chat (same thing) that shes a *kitty* type person and doesnt want to give up her lynx. also pets could be affected by surroundings/background. my ranger had a lynx for a while and in the shiverpeaks it almost appeared that white at times.

i wouldnt changing one of my other charcs second professions and geting one of the new pets...hm.. say a W/E changing to W/R where do i get charm animal at?

Old Ascalon or ember light camp

I think Charm Animal is one of the basic skills you get given immediately upon switching to ranger profession. I may be wrong.

Either that or talk to Nente between Old Ascalon and the breech. He offers a few Ranger only quests.

You get Charm Animal from Master Ranger Nente in the south province area in presearing... whatever the hell it's called.

And yes, it's a white lynx, but different colours were elliminated after the betas so right now the only lynxes you can get are the brown ones. It's a shame, really... I know it would have put a little more taxation on the servers but having different coloured pets adds flavour.

you can still get a a lynx that color all you have to do it dye it white

They removed the white lynx then just get a black one, my pet hannibal a melandr's stalker looks pretty good. When you have the money you will dye your armor black ( believe me almost everyone does it) a melamdru's stalker will match your armor then. Melandru's Stalkers look the best, but that's just my opinion.
