Gorrel's Staff.. 60hp?

i was just cleaning out my storage the other day 2 find gorrels staff (s/f) i said;
"WTF were that come from o well" (knowing that no1 will buy it)

but on closer inspection i noticed it had +30hp then another +30hp is this a mixup caus that would b worth selling if ANET nerfed the ones u get dropped in s/f nowadays.

caus +60 hp can go a long way wat u think

+30+30 is a common Staff setup.

Staves have both +30 Prefixes AND Suffixes. (Hale and Fortitude).

o right thanks for clearing that up now i can sell it to a merchant

I use Gorrel's staff for my ranger when I run a trapper build. It was cheap and gave me a good health and energy boost...

You can of course do as you wish, but I would advise not selling it to a merchant; rather sell it in game or here on this site in the auction area - unless you are content leaving many thousands "on the table"...

You can always get a couple "k" for it, don't sell it to merchant. I use crappy greens for trading. I give them cash and a crappy green, many ppl will accept it cause it's a green. I trades some "k" and gorrel's staff for Vilnar's Claw.

You can always get 1k for it.

There are people that stand in War Camp and say "Buying all unwanted greens 1kea"

Its a deal really when you get those REALLY crappy greens.

Good point Former Ruling, but you can get mre than 1k for gorrel's. You can use my "trading" idea, or you can just sell it to a mesmer or a trapper. There are always people that want to buy it for a lil' more than 1k.

Sorry but for all items that sell for 5K or so, I always try to find a new player in the ascalon area to give it away to. Why waste time selling an item for chump change when you can instead give the item away and make someone's day?

So that they can turn around and sell it right in our face, cuz that's his 3rd+ character anyway, so he doesn't need it. I just try to sell at a reasonable price. I usually say selling XXX for reasonable offer.

If you give it away, you make someone really happy... true. I know that would be the best thing to do, but 5k is still a large amount of money. I know 5k isn't that much, I can farm it in a couple minuts, but I don't want to spend all my time farming.
If someone gave me that staff when I was in Ascalon with my first characm I would be soooo happy, but it never happened.

If 5k is worth the time it takes to sell to you, then go for it, but generally you could already have farmed OTHER greens in the time it takes to make that extra 4k off it.

well i would giv it away but then i would think

"wonder if its thats guys like 4th character, and he might sel it on"

i do giv stuf away for free but of l8 people that iv seen r like

"im lvl 9 can i hav it"

then u go to them and they got like 15k armour on caus they paid a run to marhans or wat not,

well if any1 wants it here for somthin like 5k or wat not (dont really care been sitting in storage for ages)
