Henchies & Resurrect

Hi.

I use henchies quite a bit (yeah I know, but they don't go running off & do something else if they don't like where you are going) and was wondering if they take the same skills as human players.

I ask coz when I started taking resurrect (after all henchies died during the Surmia bonus) I have noticed that Alesia no longer resurrects herself like she used to.

Is this a bug or just coz I have resurrect and she can't be bothered to help herself???

sometimes henchman bug out and don't function like they should. for example during the sanctum cay mission (i did this with henchies the first time ) after the cut scene they wouldn't move, they wouldnt follow me, and at first i did'nt notice, since there was undead helping me fight, suddenly i died and saw all the henchman were alive, so i clicked to see them and they were standing there. then they started running and ran back and forth next to a tree.

once when i was using two monk henchies (later in the game) for example lina and alesia, lina died a little back and i didnt notice, then someome else died and alesia wouldnt rez until i went back to lina - then she rezed lina and alesia started rezing again.

Alesia has never resurrected herself...Thats impossible (you can't use a skill dead).

What you saw was the other henchies using Rez Sig on her - They use it the SECOND she drops.

The reason you never notice them bringing or using it is that they waste it the second they have the opportunity to. So when you need rezes, they've already used it up.

worse yet. when they use res signet multi times... I know for a fact they do in the Z challenge area... We sat there and specifically counted uses of res signet... and of the 4 NPCs there were 6 uses of the sig, and 2 uses of regular resurrect... Its a little hard on the z missions as you can not see their secondary profession, but still... at least make it so they follow the same rules we do with their skills...

12 res sigs total on 8 man Zaishen.

Hadn't noticed that they said that, very true. never seen anyone bring themselves up from the dead.

I have, only once though so it must have been a bug. Was in Ascalon with my 1st character many moons ago (actually i think it might be the first post-searing mission you get), and I only had Alesia with me. She got killed and then resurrected as if a sig had been used, even though i didn't even have one equipped. Very weird. I remember because for a little while after that, and being the newb I was, I thought maybe Alesia had an auto-rezz. I was quickly proven wrong...dead wrong (ooh sorry for the pun )
