OK so i am in the process of making my 55 monk but need to know something.
Does it matter if my monk is not fully covered in tatts?

What i mean is i understand the benefit of having them, but i just don't dig the whole loin cloth look!
So can i wear tatts everywhere except legs? And if so which leggings should i procure?

If you're selecting your armor on the merit of its appearance, then just go with what looks good. From a strict powergaming perspective, full Aescetic's is the ideal for a 55 monk. However, the difference between full tats and all tats with a different type of pants is not going to be anything earth-shattering.

Wrong, the Earth DID shatter and swallow everyone. Except Chuck Norris and Myself for our own l33t reasons.

All kidding aside, I use all tats. The energy boost is nice, and the lack of bonus to a certain type of damage is pointless since it'll all get reduced to 5 through protective spirit.

You can, however, use whatever combination of armors as you so choose, there are no rules on that sort of thing.
