Well I can consider myself lucky at my school. 4 people(including myself) play Guild Wars. One of which is in my class. Hes a good friend but not that great at Guild Wars. IE. We were farming SF and hes iding his item during a battle. But hes a nice guy and a good friend so I kept silent.Another is a complete n00b to say the least. He bought 500k off Ebay T.T. He doesn't spend it too smartly either. A good example... Hes level 18, he buys Droks Armour (Ok) and puts a Sup absorb on a piece. Least he could do is 15k armour but he chooses Droks. Wee! Also he starts insulting my PvP character and says his Me/E is better. I ask his strat and he says "To slow them and then attack them. Then I'll run up to some place and keep attacking." Also his farming build is quite amazing The guy in my class asks him to say a farming build for Griffons. He says "All my attack skills, Sprint, and healing Sig." Well he seems to have forgotten that chances are he won't use all his attack skills. 6 attack skills= major overkill(btw he said 6 attack skills). Also seems he forgot Healing Breeze and Balths Spirit(Sorry I may have forgotten some skills seeing as I do not play W/Mos at the risk of looking like a n00b). The 4th, is my best friend. Mitchel. Hes a great friend and a cool GW player. He farms SF and hes pretty good. Were both in the same guild.
Well thats the story of The Guild Wars community of my school. Which I made since I'm bored to tears T.T
The Guild Wars community of my school

Hah!
My School community beat you!
10 people play over here at Tabb High School. All of us except 5 are in the same guild
. We know each other personally and are really good together.
One advantage to having friends that play is that you can talk strategy with them during class or during a boring lecture. It's easier to make builds that way.
Naturally, I'm the most advanced out of all of them. Just joking. I'm actually the farmer of the guild, the only one with a 55 monk.
What's best of all is that my school community is growing. I know a lot of people that have played the preiview and they loved it! I'm so thrilled

I hate my school communities. I often see something like a group of boys going, "I PLAY RS IM A PRO IM LVL 14!". And I so just want to say "STFU I've been playing RS for years, you are far from a pro." Same with all MMORPGs. Mass noobs, know far from all aspects of the game.
A friend of mine is a promising GW player (trying to get him to say post-searing as opposed to "after destroyed"). But sometimes I want to tear his mouth off before he gets the world interested in GW, and it's deja vu. "You suck! I got that jungle place's armor!"

Hehehe... There's a few people in my class that play Guild Wars. 4 others, all told. Throw in a couple kid brothers and we've got ourselves a guild.
I wouldn't know if there's anyone else out there from LCVI on Guild Wars, but since most of the student population has difficulty turning on a computer, much less utilizing one...

You know how annoying it is to have guild wars friends in school...especially if they are complete nerds. Instead of my rl name, they call me thor. They keep saying warrior stuff about me, and one of them keeps spamming spell names. I threw an eraser at him and he shrieked "Mark of Protection!! Reversal of Fortune!!!". I want them to implode sometimes.
my school... damn
people think of me as god :O in guildwars that is
its like a spreading Disease
having FoW people kiss my ass and suckup being rank9 they pay me $5 to help them farm, lol being played in Betas gave me a good advantage, peopel in my school atleast 10+ play guildwars and ive made friends with them just for the sake of gw and for money but 1 of them have thought me how to farm @ SF and hes in my band class and we really hang out together. too <3

You know.. no matter how your friend got your gold, it's his method to spend it. 15k armor doesn't do anything but present a better visual look. Some people just don't care about armor appearances, and so, to them, getting 15k instead of normal Droknar's armor would be the silly option. From that point of view, you're just wasting gold.
*cough* I will make no comment other than that it's never a good reason to make fun of other people, or be scared to try something when a large group of people are stuck with their preconceptions.
A W/Mo does not make an automatic "noob." It's how you use it that counts. Just ask any of the high level pvpers. Sure, many of them out there are, but don't crucify every single W/Mo you meet without knowing their play style, first.
I'll stop lecturing, and I'll let others take it from here. Someone patient and with more time than I have might come along and kindly explain the rest.

i had a kid in my english class that made his own chainmail DURING CLASS and listened to nothing but final fantasy soundtracks, everytime someone tried to start a conversation he gave you a look like he was gonna send you a mail bomb, scary'anyways none of my friends play video games and noone really talks about video games during class when we are all too busy trying not to hurt ourselves with exacto knives
