Ascalon Saved...In an Alternate Timeline

We aren't the first to do this, I know, but it took two beta weekend events and 69 deaths to finally do it, my boyfriend and I have killed the Charr at the altar behind the northern wall before they could destroy Ascalon, however as we all know this doesn't do anything to save the world, maybe on an alternate timeline...

I took my Ranger/Elementalist, and he was an Elementalist/Mesmer, both level 6. I had no deaths on my character, he had like four, it took me 69 deaths, all of them from the Charr behind the wall at that altar, and about three to four hours [counting a break for dinner], to defeat them all.

We had tried before, and failed, but I think part of it was due to mesmer skills and the long range ability of the longbow that helped us.

I have a ton of screenshots I'll link to later, but right now, I just want to relax, we did this last night, but I've been out all day at the beach [Thank god for Florida], so yeah tomorrow I'll have them all up, I'm so happy. YAY!

Anyone wanna know how we did it, just ask!

Theres probable more than one altar. Hence the numerous strikes all over Ascalon.

Hmm good point, but not behind the northern wall, we roamed the whole area back there for more of them. Just glad we finally kicked their butts finally...

Not the first, but eh, It felt sooo nice to finally smash those evil Charr the proper way XD.
