I read something about a three tiered system of ranking, but that's all. that was from their press release though. I don't think its all been figured out yet how the world domination thing is going to work. I'm beating that still being tweaked and adjusted as we speak, cause they will need various modifiers on the merchant queries from the database depending on the faction control and all kinds of other things. So from the press release I think that what they are talking about. 3 tier being 3 types of modifiers for town control and discounts, ect... When dealing with the town NPCs.

I know it's incredibly boring, but I can only repeat what Gaile has said when asked about rumours in the past: Until we confirm something, don't set your heart on it being true. If it's a rumour, chances are it's going to be wrong. That's the way these things go, a lot of the time.
