I'm confuzzled.

What is the difference between, for example, a longbow and a feathered long bow?

there are three different types of skins for a Longbow

FOUR different skins for longbow:

for the guy asksing: 3rd skin of Valerius's post will often be found and called flesh horn. and the pic above is often a dead bow.

The half-moon skin is used for a longbow as a pre-sear quest reward also. It's the bow I use for my non-ranger characters to pull with since it has longbow range and no req.

I thought all pre-sear bows were longbows, regardless of skin?

Quest reward/collector Long Bow skins con't count because they're weird like that. You'll find all kinds of funky/"wrong" skins on quest rewards and collector items.

yeah i wasn't including Quest Reward Longbows cause' there are tons of skins for those... the ones i showed are droppable from chests and certain mobs

What About the Storm Bow from Underworld. That would make 5 yes?

well... we're talking about Longbows with different skins... the Stormbow is different bow but same class

also add crafter longbows. it's the most generic skin after flatbow. you'll see it on pvp recurves and some collectors. i know that the pre-sear, yaks and LA crafter's have it.

It's a longbow that looks different...how is it in a differnt class and say deadbow not...

Storm Bows and Longbows are counted as different BUT share the same class stats.

Dead Bows are a totally different class of bows.

ok other bows without LONG in it is a diffrent genre or class than the actually long bow..not storm/eternal/short/recurve/flat
