Do trappers make good farmers?

I was looking to have some fun for when we don't have favor, and i wanted to see if a trapper would make a good solo build, and if so how can i make it, i, right now, go with serpents quickness whirling defence (traps duhh) and 16 expertise and wilderness survival,


well if you guys could help i wanna compare your builds to mine, and lets see if i could mess around with mine...

I've made a little over 100k in the last week farming with my trapper, about 3 hours a night.

14 Expertise (11 + 3 Sup. rune)
16 WS (12 + 1 mask + 3 Sup. rune)
9 Marks (6 + Sup. rune)

Distracting Shot
Whirling Defense
Dust Trap
Barbed Trap
Flame Trap
Apply Poison
Oath Shot {E}
Troll Unguent

k, i got all those but oath, whered you farm at?

i tried griffs, but, yeah not gona talk about it

Oath shot is key for my build... without it, good luck.

As for where I farm, all I will say is it is in the desert.




My ranger's IGN is Sinthea Firebrand, if you want sometime perhaps I can take you on a crash course in solo trapping.

I've got over a million xp, and that's without trapping UW repeatedly - I never did get drops down there worth both the entry fee and the hassle of dealing with others.

You can obtain Oath Shot in Iron mines of Moladune, Abaddon's Mouth, and Ring of Fire Mission.
