I just started doing runs and I was wondering what the best shield would be for me to use when I run?

I currently use tall shield that has a +44 hp while enchanted and -3 damage while hexed just for those hexes you get and switch to a Eternal +45 while enchanted -2 stance

A good shield for running is one from the collector in the desert that is max defense with -2 stance and +45 HP stance. It's cheap, and works wonders because most of the time while running you will be using stances.

Quoted for truth. This is the only shield that I use, ever, since it's just that good given how cheap it is. :|

Though I've been wondering how well I would do with a Victo's Bulwark instead...

-2 stance, +45hps stance is probably the most generally useful shield if you only wanted 1 since you are in a stance pretty much all the time.

However realistically, i don't think there is 1 shield alone that you should be content with. Different runs have different needs, so, have several shields.
Factors like
-How many hex'ers are there on this run?
-How many enchant strippers are there?
Need to be asked.
