Anyway, Gwen is still alive (sadly), and from the looks of things she made it at least to Sanctum's Cay (Tattered Cape can be found north of there, near Fisherman's Haven) and SC is a port of Kryta according to the lore. So it's possible she fled to Cantha already, always 1 step in front of the angry hatefilled mob trying to kill her...
Could it be that we'll find more clues of her whereabouts in Cantha? Or maybe the devs planned it so we keep finding clues of her through all chapters, then ending the mystery by making her one of the final bosses in one of them (possibly 3 or 4)?
Alternate theory: Puberty hit Gwen hard, and she became the Vizier of Orr, distracting the old King of Orr with her cuteness while she took over, then doomed the whole Kingdom. If you listen closely to the Lich, you can notice a girlish voice...

The charr use her for breeding! I have the most disgusting image in m- OK not that. But yeah, you find her stuff all over damn Tyria. Who is to say she didn't ascend ? I found more of her crap in the desert as well.

Just the Tattered Cape and broken flute.. I've also just found an ordinary flute, but thats about it. O.o I found a flute in the UW too.. but.. meh.
Edit: She was also talking about her mom as a healer in presear. Perhaps she ended up being one of those ? I also wouldn't be surprised to see her as one of the new trainers.

i personally like the leg idea..instead...the charr took her prisoner , and , after not being able to get the secret of firestorm from her, the decided to rip her apart and take her limbs as weapons, and thought that maybe, just maybe, if they ate her brain that they too would be able to get into outposts/towns and kill every human player, and possibly achieve thier goal of destroying ascalon..who knows??maybe gwen legs are more powerfull than hammers..and attacjk faster than swords...and are more ranged that longbows...and ...i hope you get my point now...
why gwen though??why not kill glint with like.......ummm......5k waves of char lords??who knows...maybe they might be able to get glint on thier side??!!crystal hibernation!!!

Hmmmm Iam not sure but when you entered underworld from ToA. There was few ghost around you and one of them name sarah { Gwens Mother] and she asked you if you dont see her. So if her Mother coulnt find her in underworld she must be somewhere in Tyria

Good theory, although I highly doubt the Mursaat took her and I don't think Gwen is dead either. I think she is in Kryta somewhere.

Gwens alive. One of these days she will come strolling into Ascalon City or something decked out in armor from head to toe made out of Charr Hides. She'll have a sword and sheild slung across her back with a Holy Rod and flame artifact filling her hands. The 'original' Invinci-Monk Gwen! She will have a large group of ascalon people that had disappeared during the Searing in tow too. The people will fill the place with tales of how the only reason they are alive is due to Gwen. We will hear that Gwen survived capture & death during the searing. How will never be told, cuz only Gwen herself can tell it. Gwen went into hiding for some time, exact amount of time even Gwen doesnt know. When she finally came out of hiding she was filled with such great rage she picked up the first weapon she found and has been slaying char every since. the people she saved tell how they were found by her and taken to a place for safekeeping. The people would care for one another day in day out. While they were caring for one another Gwen would be off days at a time sometimes. She would return with items she found along her way as well as survivors sometimes. Gwen would reassure everyone that they are safe then she would go to sleep. When the people woke the next morning Gwen would be gone again. What she was doing was looking for survivors and trying to clear a safe route back to ascalon for them to travel.

Then, she took a boat to someplace else where there was no war. Now, Gwen is like wut? 14 yrs old in some strange place waiting to see some familiar face.
We will recognice her (chap3 or 2) but she will not remember us. We give her the items we found along our Prophecies journey so she remember. And....i dont know.
Anyways, for the person that said Charr dindt made it to Kryta there is a part in the history of the white mantle where it says that the Charr started to invade Kryta but the unseen ones protected the land.

That said, if I was Anet, I'd very, very, rarely have Gwen pop up and then disappear in peoples instances. Even if someone managed to screenshot her everyone would think it was a photoshop job anyway.
