Where are the frozen chests at?

can someone plz tell me where the frozen chests are at where serpent axes drop from?

u mean Shiverpeak Chests?

... there in around Southern Shiverpeaks

ive found serpent axes everywhere including pre-searing
frozen chests might be the ones in snake dance...im not too sure

There are still chests around in the Southern Shiverbeaks, called Frozen Chests, and they don't require keys.

If they are speaking of the chest in Dreadnought's Drift you dont kneed a key to open it. I think there is one more chest you dont need a key to.

Are these the chests that maybe only spawn once in your character's life time? I remember passing by a chest under the tree right outside Thunderhead Keeps but it seems to only happen when I play a new character and getting to THK for the first time. The next time I see one, though, I will not open it. I ran to THK w/henchies when Ironmine mission was broken with a new character and there it was, the chest. Except when I opened it, henchies stole everything and there was zero drop. Not even white/blue/purple. Next time I walk past one with a new character, I will go into THK and lose everyone and come outside alone to see if it's still there. Oh, and when you open the chest, more often than not a bunch of shadows/nightmares spawn including possibly a boss that will likely wipe you out, too, so grab everything first, fight later.

there is on in dreadnoughts drift that drop EVERY item in the game
and one that sometime spawns outside THK with forstbite

So the frozen chest in dreadnoughts is not the lost strongbox people talk about? I cleared dreadnoughts, and the only unlocked chest I found was the frozen chest...

in dreadnoughts there are 2 chests :
frozen chest = armor drops
lost strongbox = weapon drops

both chests drop every item you can get ingame, the frozen chests even drop armors you can't get from drops.

I had to check this out for myself, I used my forge running build to get there. Sure enough there is a chest there called "the lost chest". It's actaully very easy to get to, and easy to re-zone and open it again and again. I did it 3 times, of the 7 drops each time I opened it, there was always one purple and the rest were mostly blues. Got an errie staff from it, so it definitly can drop anything. I think I may start farming it, to find out if it ever drops any gold items. I looked for the "frozen chest" but I couldnt find one

That one shows up more than once in your character's life time. It just spawns in a few locations in Ice Floe like any other chest. Just keep rezoning until you see it again. Good for capping Signet of Judgement if you're a monk.

Doy ou know exactly where in dreadnought's? i ran there yesterday and could not find it...... if someone could show me, id be a happy man

ok i found em both, imo its not even worth the trouble running up there to get to it, not a gold yet, but im gonna keep trying, i want a serpent axe

I went there yesterday and only got junky white stuff from the lost strongbox. Nothing from the frozen chest. Bet those henchies stole it. Thieves.

I wish they had an area where there was a mandatory gag order for finding secret chests...these chests used to drop perfect weapons, and since it has been "going around" all i ever get is freakin white items. Thanks alot guys
