Was reading through the assassin skill list posted on another thread and shortly after reading though it I said to myself what ways can an assassin class user cut and manage their energy costs. Even though the assassin gets several skills to help with this and on top of that the obvious zealous mod a particular elite came to mind. Flourish. lets say you open up your chain of attacks and keep spamming repeating strike until your energy gets low well just finish it with the dual attack and then click flourish to have all your currently recharging skills ready again and on top of that gain some energy back. One thing that seemed to concern some people was the possibility of a monk or some other class interrupting or blocking one of the skills needed in order to continue to the next technically flourish could give you another shot at getting that combo out without losing a ton of energy by failing the first time. Just a thought really haven’t had a chance to test it seeing is how you cant play as the assassin until chapter 2 comes out any thoughts or opinions would be nice unless I misinterpreted something about the skills or the order they go in.

One problem with that I find is that you have to choose between better energy gain from Flourish by being a W/A or slightly better base damage (higher Dagger Mastery) and more criticals and a primary linked energy management (Critical Strikes).
Flourish at 0 strength yields all of 1 energy per recharged skills (meaning it'd take 5 charging skills just to repay the cost of using it).

lol all I have to say is bonk not at you but at me I totally forgot it was strength related I was thinking tactics when I posted this o well the fact it gets your skills back up with some gain is still better than nothing imo.

Taken in context with Moby-strike, flourish isn't that bad of an idea. Moby is, unfortunately, an off-hand, which reduces its effectiveness considerably. As for conventional build-making, flourish still works without the extra mana regen. Constant application of disrupting strike/offhand/Twisting fangs or Exhausting Failure (or other high cooldown strikes) leads to plenty of misery for any caster without opting for templestrike.
