Ok, I'm starting to doubt GuildWiki. Can someone tell me if the Boss info about capping Life Barrier is accurate? How rarely does Eshnal Hardwood appear in the three places he is listed at? Ive done almost a dozen runs through there and never seen him once. And what about Quickroot? The first stage of the Droknar run? Is it even possibe to cap from him?

The Pinesoul bosses stink (yes, pun intended). There are 4 spawn locations; Guildwiki doesn't list one of them. I can't remember if their locations were stabilized, i.e. now they spawn in one location or not. I do know that there's another spawn point just north of the western-most spawn point on the Guildwiki map. There are Smite Crawlers around there though so it's a bit of a pain.

Savio is 100% correct, as i've had much the similar experience only a few days ago ... and found Esnhal in the spot Savio described. I can feel your pain on the making many, many, many trips ... I lost count of the amount of trips I had to do outside thunderhead looking for the Jade Armor with oath shot, it had to have been in the 20's.

Guildwiki and the previous responders are correct he does spawn in forest forest. I had to make 5 runs before he finally spawned. When he finally spawned it was in a little cove with 3 ice imps with him. You want to talk about tough. Try Spell Breaker in Snake Dance. I had to make 14 trips before he spawned.

Forgot to update this yesterday. Sure enough! My first trip out ther to the 'new' spwan location there he was with his three imps. Needless to say I smoked him and finally got my elite but I do remember fighting a pinesol and three imps there before and it wasnt Hardwood so hes not always there.

yea its a hard one to cap. i got it at lvl 6 but it took me like 3 hours to get it cause i didnt have copper so i fought my way from rankor :S

Didn't believe this at first. Had to go and check myself. This seriously needs to be added to Xennon. It's like a 30 second stroll to the boss...
EDIT: Two other bosses spawn there too. Clobberhusk; a warrior, and Posionbough; a ranger. Clobberhusk has the elite Defy Pain (apparently) but I have yet to find out whether the ranger boss has one or not. It's actually quite hard to kill a path to the bosses, nigh-on impossible without level 20 help. This is certainly not henchable with low levels.

Yeah, I had to run through that part multiple times before I finally capped Life Barrier myself. But, when I went out to cap Defy Pain for my warrior, that damn Enshal was the first boss that showed up twice in a row. I think the game tries to infuriate you when it creates your instance sometimes.

darkMishkin was talking about Lornar's Pass outside of Beacon's Perch, if you saw what he quoted.

It is by far the easiest place to get these skills. Walk straight out of the Lornar's Pass exit from Beacon's Perch, and hold Ctrl. Not your boss? Respawn.
[careful of triggering the farming nerf if you spawn too many times!]
Four Possible Spawns:
1. Quickroot. Monk. Elite: Life Barrier.
2. Clobberhusk. Warrior. Elite: Defy Pain.
3. Poisonbough. Ranger. Elite: None.
4. Pinesoul. IE: No boss spawn.
All confirmed now, I just tested it.

I'd like Lifebarrier in my skill list as well, but so far I've had only problems with 5 lvl 10 henchies there in the evil wilderness of lvl 24+ beasties.
