ABout Pelts and Armor

Ok In order to get armor in the begining you need like 100 gold or 150 and iron ignet and Pelts. I have everything but Pelts. Poeple will sell me pelts But i would really like to know how to get them. Someone told me you have to kill bears and that the bear skin is the same thing. But the only time i ever picked up bair skin from a bai is when i had that quest from the Tanner guy. Please help. I am very lost

Pelts drop from Charrs ... albiet very, very infrequently. In around 5 hours of farming, I had recieved a grand total of two pelts .. other people's mileage may vary.

They drop about 12% of the time from bears
