Sapphires, point?

hi last night in the new UW i get a sapphire drop and apart from selling it WTF is its purpose just there to make gamers money, when i got it i asked the same question to my party one said

"keep it for factions"

has it got a purpose in the expansion caus if so ill keep it if not merchant time

Rumor is that it will be used to craft vanity armor in Factions. I would hold on to it.

they put it there for a reason, keep it.

yeah im saving my money already for factions armour etc.

so i may as well keep it

yes you will want to keep your rubbies or saphires for ch.2 for your necklaces, or bracelets, earrings.what not..k

yeah but all my chars r guys (no offense but i find it strange when guys make fem chars xD)

1)so is there any other use,
2)will the price drop since it looks like the will get more comon and eventually b like the price of deldrimore steel or summit

Right now the only use for Sapphires or Rubies is to sell for gold (either to players or merchants), salvage for crafting materials or use as "exchange" goods instead of Gold (ie buy X item for 100 rubies instead of 600 plat)... that's it.

So either sell em, salvage em or keep them "just in case."

2. Price speculation based on what could happen will get you nowhere... and further speculation on what might or might not be in Faction's... just won't do any good as we don't know. Try reading the PVP Factions Event weekend forum for information. And since we don't know.. and speculation gets us nowhere..
