First off I have used the forum search function and have not seen an anwser to these questions>
When you change your secondary class via the quests in the crystal desert are you able to then get and complete the quest to obtain your previous secondary class again? (your an El/Mo you switch to El/R grab a few skills from the ranger tree then want to switch back to El/Mo again)?
In the above situation are you able to retain all of your Monk skills after ditching your Ranger secondary?
Is there any limit to the amount of times you can switch your secondary class?
Once you switch your secondary class does that enable your character to go back and do all the quests related to skill gains (that pertain to this new secondary) or are you limited to only buying and capturing skills for this secondary class?
Thanks in advance!
The end all Secondary class change thread

I've answered "Yes" to all of your questions, each and every one of them. Take my word for it, I'm currently a W/E switched from a W/Mo. Changing your secondary profession is really fun, especially if you're bored with the secondary profession you initially chose. Have fun experimenting and growing as a character, there are no bad choices concerning your secondary profession in this case!

I agree with Karnaj, except for this question, to which the answer is no:
You even retain your pet.
What you don't get are the skills you temporarily got in the pre-searing quests. For example, say I tried the secondary monk quest and got Orison of Healing, but then decided to become a secondary ranger instead, removing my monk skills. If you were to change you secondary profession back to monk in the Crystal Desert, you would have to purchase Orison of Healing from a skill trainer.

the official last word except now we know how
The bottom line is that you could have a primary character who has experimented with all five available secondary professions. That character will likely have good stock of skills in each of those lines. In fact, that character could have every skill in each of the five available secondaries. The character then, in ways not yet to be revealed, will be able to shift to a different secondary and take advantage of a long history of roleplaying character development.

Here's what someone else said in their thread......
So does that mean you can't change back to your original secondary profession or no?

Well, he will have the option to switch secondary professions down the road but once he does then that's it. There is no switching back and forth. |

I've just gone in game and changed my character's secondary profession to every one possible and then back to what it was before. As I thought, there appear to be no restrictions to changing it whatsoever.

oh cool, so if i unlock an elite spell for a monk and then switch to a ranger, when I change back to monk they will still be there?
I would hate to have to unlock those skills again! :P

So the major limiting factor for any new secondary classes are skill points. Yay to ArenaNet for making such a flexible system.
