unable to translate "terms"

sorry if this was posted but i still do not understand any of the terms used by people. they say stuff like Aoe of something and use weird terms i cannot decipher. But i did find out wat iway and pugs so no need for those. could someone or anyone just add terms or phrases used to describe something. so i can understand what people mean.

AoE = Area of Effect

Searching for Abbrevations prolly gives plenty of threads with plenty of them..

Guildwiki on Slang and Terminology might help as well.
