Drop from Doppelganger?

I just ascended my monk and thought this was kind of odd. Has anyone else ever gotten a drop from their Doppelganger, or is this just some random thing?

doppel has always dropped stuff for me, but it's always plain crap :P

The Doppleganger had always dropped items when you defeat it.

ya he once dropped a gold unid aegis for me =)

I've not always got a drop from the Doppleganger, but yes I have had drops before. Had a couple of blues, but never a purple or gold.

I got like a staff from my dopple once. Its hit or miss if you get a drop.

Yep, he always drop items, but they're quite crappy most of the time. The doppleganger should drop his bow or axe occasionally though, that would be nice, and would be very rare, but they shouldn't be too powerful

Oh damn, i've never got a drop, the cutscene pops up about .1 seconds after the finishing blow...

Dopple dropped me a hammer, even though he was a sword warrior -_-

I got a tribal axe, just what a ranger needs

the fight is seriously glitched, if you hang around for 10 minutes and dont kill him

nothing happens, then i killed him after the 10 minutes and it went like normal....

Wasn't there recently another post about this very same thing?

I never got a drop from her on any of my 3 char.s

i found he nearly always drops when i was trying to get fastest ascension time i could to smite my guild (8 seconds FTW), but its not that comforting to know my inner double can only afford 10-18 holy rods

I got same Healing Ankh drop when my monk bet him. I was like WOW! Then I got to thinking, wait I didnt get a drop when I beat my Doppleganger with my warrior or my ranger previously. So i am not sure its a 'always' drop. I still have the Healing Ankh though, more of a trophy than anything else.

definite not always, none of my 4 chars have got a drop

I got a gold max damage chrystalline sword req 7 from him
its still unid and im selling it to the first person to message me in game with any price T W E A K E D

never seen a drop from dopple, but i've never really payed attention.

i have never got a drop from him too... maybe i have and just havnt realised as it was crap :P

My W/Mo, Mo/Me and E/Me has all gotten gold drops from it. But the problem is, how do you grab it before the cutscene?
