Statistics....
Old Dood
Is there anyway for us members to see statistics on the Guru?
Like the average amount of users online....Bandwidth info...etc...

No Most sites don't go around publishing this information. I might make mention of some of this information here and there, but it's just not necessary for the general public to know. There are sites out there that show some excellent trends in the amount of traffic websites experience. Nothing concrete or terribly accurate, but they are out there.
Old Dood
I can understand that..."someone" would take advantage I suppose. Well has the average gone up? I am sure it has...but how much? If that is ok to ask that....
Swehurn
Hope I'm not breaking any rules by mentioning this, but alexa gives some of the information that Inde refers to above.
For a chuckle, try comparing guru to some of the other fansites for traffic.
...and, on a side note, it's only recently that I've seen a FULL PAGE of "Users Currently Online".

Well some of the Mods stated that there were about 2% of the users in Invisable mode at that time. That was interesting....since I am one of those people.

If you check at the bottom of the screen in the main forum page, you might notice that we just broke the all-time record for most users online just 2 days ago. That broke the 9-month standing record set the day the game first came out. It's all those chinese and taiwanese joining soon i think. Just hope gw servers have enough room for them...

Swehurn, yes that's exactly what I was referring to. It's deceptive as it's not very accurate, but does, as I mentioned above give a nice trend to see if the site traffic is going up or down. It can also be deceptive though as on some it shows the entire network hits (as in gwvault.ign.com will return results for the entire IGN network).
And Loviatar, not sure what site those stats are for but the Guru stats are just not going to be released. I really appreciate all the interest though

That's nice to look at Loviatar.
I think the amount of people that visit the site have tripled or possibly quadrupled.
I can only imagine tons of bandwidth is being used. This site is only running on advertisements and a great server run by great admins *cough*.
Statistics would be cool to look at though.

Inde we understand your policy on that....Is there anyway we can know what the limit is as to how many users Guru can handle? I can understand if that is a secret too...

Half true. There were two records were set - the newer one outpaced the server-time reset error.
