IF YOU DIDNT REQUEST A PASS WORD CHANGE THAN SOMEBODY HAS GOTTEN HOLD OF YOUR INFORMATION AND IS TRYING TO GRAB YOUR ACCOUNT

edit

you might want to run some anti spyware/keylogger utilities to see if you are infested.

you didnt ask for a change than someone else did............

you can get a keylogger by simply clicking on the wrong site or almost anything and then it faithfully records every keystroke you make and sends that info back to its maker.

Also, heres microsoft antispy. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en
Is best to scan with more than one just to make sure. Make sure you click on options and then "full system scan" instead of smartscan when you first run it

It's possible someone just used your email and requested a password thing. It's pretty easy to get a hold of emails these days.

As you see, this also happened to me.

I checked up what someone would need to reset your password: your email, date of birth, and the answer to your security question. The first two are pretty easy to get I guess, so you'd better make sure you have a water-tight question.

Whoever went for my account took 12 guesses before giving up, assuming PlayNC send an email every time.

No sorry. I was just amused by the image of all those attempted password resets followed by an email seemingly saying "we don't care".

I was understandably worried about the first 12 emails, >:| so I did what they said to do: email them. All I got back was the same 'default' reply they send to everyone who doesn't have a "support account", which just happens to be titled "Assistance request Denied" and sent under a different name.

I'm sure all of those messages are legitimate emails from PlayNC.

To the OP, do you have a brother or someone else who may have tried to play? It's pretty easy to have your password changed - my son was trying to log onto my game and clicked the button and changed mine. It's easy enough to change it back.
