Have seen quite a few W/Mo (monks) it seems to work rather well.. in pvp that is. I also have a W/N (nec) friend who can dish out a bit of damage and regen faster than anyone I have seen.

W/Meser would be pretty lethal against healers and other caster classes I bet. A W/Elementalist pry deals the most damage also.

I'm a W/N, and yeah, it pwns. But, it depends on what type of a game you wanna play: healing yourself and mates? Dealing huge damage? Sucking away life, and making your enimies fighting less effective?

Let me summarize, correct me if I am wrong.

Primary Warrior's strength & weakness:
Gets the best armor, melee master and always engage melee combat.
Low max energy & energy refresh rate.

Warrior/Elementalist:
Point-blank nuke! (Not sure guildwars has pb or not, but tank + Weapon of Mass Destruction... G. Bush will have restless sleep...)
Conjure "elemental" to give elemental dmg to melee??
Some armor enhancement spell?
Decent ranged nuke (If It can't goes to melee)

Warrior/Monk (Paladin):
Lots of Enchantment that heals & protects yourself, therefore harder to kill (enchantment spell don't cost melee attack opportunity)
But I suspect if part with Primary Monk, this build will look very stupid..

Warrior/Ranger:
Ranged attack (Not a good choice as u can't do ranged & melee at the same time)
Pet (some more dmg output)

Warrior/Necromancer:
Please advise

Warrior/Mesmmer:
Please advise

Warrior/Ranger:
Basher + Some nice self-heals, also decent with a bow.

Warrior/Necromancer:
Leach Hoe, also has some nice regens.

Warrior/Mesmmer:
Stopcast, good for chasing monks about with skills such as backfire and many other spell-blockers.

I am a W/Mo, and if we go with a group that has a Primary healing Monk, I will switch my attributes from healing to smiting and increase my damage output. Judges Insight is fantastic

I'm a W/E and I love it! It does a lot of damage if that's what you like to do.

W/E also gets the spells that change your weapons damage (or adds to it) and they do have close range AOE like Inferno and a few others. Firestorm, Metero Shower and a few others can also be used right over your head, and drop all around you.

So you can get them to swarm you and then nuke them to soften it all up, light your weapon on fire and then just start bashing away.

So yeah, it's a damage build.

Beware the traps of a Warrior Primary, yes it all looks good on paper when your looking at a secondary professions spell list but remember this you have a small mana pool with small mana regen and a lot of your Warrior skills will delve into this.

That being said if you want to wield a shield or hammer you wont have an off hand weapon to boost your mana pool. So you can forget any spell that costs 15 mana or more as casting it will drain nearly all your mana and it will be a while before you've got the mana back to recast it.

So when looking for a secondary as a warrior its important to look at spell mana cost, a high costing mana spell really hurts a warriors mana pool. And if your using other warrior skills that use a little mana each you will find a lot of the time you wont even be able to build up 15 mana to cast the spell, unless you use it as an opener at the beginning of a fight.

As a Warrior view the skill lists of your secondary class sorted by mana usage. The 5 mana spells can be used as your bread and butter. 10 mana cost spells you can afford to use as well in the right situation. 15 mana cost spells will only be effective as openers as chances are you wont have your mana regen back to 15 without an off hand energy boost item.

So a Warrior/Monk seems appropriate yeah? (according to your theory)

W/Mo probably has the most diversity and is a great PvE nuker (Zealots Fire and Balthazar's Aura) not to mention Judge's Insight agaist certain critters or rangers.

The W/N build is often overlooked as well, but some of the life stealing abilities are just evil. It is hard to quantify just how good stealing 40+ life from a player and gaining that much health can be.

To comment on the small mana pool, this is true but most W/Mo use sword so their attack skills pull from adren. The ability to attack without energy loss is significant.
