Yea. thats the full underworld map. but this is what you were wanting. this is a smaller map that is used specifically for getting your Lev 20 elder spider...



Basically clear everythign out to area D first. Before taking the restoring the monuments quest.

have a runner go all the way back to the Reaper of the labyrinth, and take the Restoring the monuments quest.

Make sure you are to the south of area D hang over by the ghostly town center.

Clear the area up near D

Go to the reaper of the forgotten Vales at D and accept reward...

Take the Wrathful Spirts Quest. When you take the quest Clear the area again. Protecting at least 1 town member and the mayor... then go and accept reward at D.

Theres your spider. Go charm it... Then your free to do whatever you want from here. Often people head back to do Smite runs for ecto... but you can go do anythign from this point on...

Your 'smite runs start here' point is wrong

Note that you won't get an elder spider necessarily (as Ingram implies), it can also spawn as Dire or Hearty.

True Sorry. I got elder. but your right I have seen them all appear...

C is the start of the smite area... U have to walk back down toward A and loop back up to c from the west... The obvious path on the map is deceptive as its actually a ledge you can not go down. so you have to go around...

We need a good group for it normally. I can't tank the underworld solo... so I don't charge anything.

No C is there because most people farm Smites instead of the spider quest... so that's the more common route... For the spider...

B(no quest!! just reward),
D (Where to get spider)
B(pick up quest)
D(reward)
D(quest)(reward) ... (spider near shrine). is the appropriate sequence...

C is just an option for afterward... But its the common Path (A to C, skiping B reward) for underworld Smite runs. so its there mostly for reference...

I normally go with a 3 or 4 man team MIN...

Monk Heal Smiter
Necro batery / MM
(whatever else you want to bring) Obviously a ranger to charm the pet... lol

theres a service than you can buy a spider. all you do is go down into UW bring charm animal let them kill all the stuff you get drops and pay at the end the price.

at each "Reaper" point... after completing a certain quest a Black Widow Spider will spawn... either being Elder, Hearty or Dire

u don't buy a Black Widow Spider... u pay for the run... meaning u usually hook up with a 55 Monk and SS Necro and they'll take u to the first "Reaper" point (Forgotten Vale Reaper)

I did that same quest to get my spider and instead of elder I got a dire. So you can get all types of spiders from the same quest.
