serpant axe question

I thought the serpant axe was rare. i was reading through some forums and people where saying that getting a serpant axe drop was super rare and finding a max damage one is even more rare. well i found a blue zelious serpant axe of deffense that is max damage and only has a req of 10. and i got it price checked and although only one person price checked it. it only turned out to be around 3k. WHY IS THIS? i thought they were rare.

There were alot of serpent axes farmed out of the Lost Strongbox before it got closed - that put a dent in the values.

Combine that with the new game and weapons coming out, and voila!

I have never had a serpent axe drop for me of any variety. I do have the quest reward that has the serpent axe skin though, so I am happy with that.

thats where i got my serpent axes i wish i knew where else to git them along with the dwarven axe im lookn to but a req 8-9 sertpent of dwarven axe with 15% enchants mod on it.
