All axes have the same stats for max: 6-28 Slashing damage, except for Pickaxe types which have 6-28 Piercing damage.
All swords have same stats for max: 15-22 Slashing damage.
Generally, for doing damage as a Warrior you'd want a Vampiric [Axe/Sword] of Fortitude or of Defense. Never, ever go with Sundering. Check the Price check forum for prices.

Yes, it is.

it's a constant 1% armor penetration. 10% of 10=100% of 1
Not sure how good or bad that is, or what that translates too, but seeing how 40 armor is an increase of 100%->200% damage against a wariror with 96 AL (armor+shield) it would be 0.96 armor pentrated it's a ~2% increase in damage.
with a 22 max damage.. 0.22 damage extra won't even give a full point extra (on average). When it does trigger it will do about 2.2 damage extra, but that's only against warriors.
This is, however, with my very limited knowledge about the mechanics of the game and I'm likely totally off.

edit....nvm.

Now I'm wondering if my calculations were correct or if I need to use some other formula
sh4ft3d
lol it would be 9.6 armor penetration. and assuming the weapon has an elemental hilt would mess up the calculations.

it would be 9.6 10% of the time.... or .96 100% of the time. That's what it averages out too. And you can't have sundering and elemental on same sword.

Where does that conversion come in?

Vampiric on Swords and Axes = 10% extra damage roughly
Otherwise take a zelous mod if you have energy skills
For Hammer its either the adrenaline upgrade or zelous
Vamp on hammer is also around +10% damage on average
Take both and weapon switch

I take 4 axes 10:10/30 10/30 10/20echanted and 3/20echanted all 15^50 and customized that way any situation is for the taking with a switch.
Also i use to be a swords guy until i got 100blades and couldnt use Healing Hands (2 different elites) so i went to axe since
Cyclone is much like 100blades but not an elite and u can still use Healing Hands (Done because of Griffon run) but it works
in mission too, to stay alive.

Kurow
For pure dps i would go with vampiric and + armor.

Sry about the above^^^ post. I was saying that if you tested pon elemental and sundering, the calculations would be different'
