15 k set... Which one should I choose?

I now have enough money and items to buy my first 15k set piece...

I was thinking Drakescale.... What do you think?

I just recently got 15k Druid's for my ranger. Dyed it white (ish). I think it looks great. (Too lazy to post a screenshot)

If you aren't concerned with the energy, Drakescale would be your best bet. I think drake scale looks the overall best. I chose Druid's because (for me) it comes in as a close second and I liked the extra energy.

Don't go buy a 15k as soon as you have enough money. I would reconmend for newbs to actually buy what they NEED instead of that they WANT, like 15k for example.

But it's just a advice. If you really want a 15k set, I say druids. Or mix Droks Druid Gloves and Boots with 15 Druid Chestpiece and 15k Skirt...you know, the one that has bonus against Lightening damage, in Granite. Best mix ever.

There's ONE reason for 15k female druids, more skin!

The exorbitant price on the druid's skimpy scrap of leather is borrowed from the same Sports Illustrated Swim-suit edition $$$ flaps. I often question why a little strip of clothing that conceals the mammary nubs and birth tract costs so many units of monetary value +_+.

One of my friends deleted her female PVE ranger and recreated it as male, after she realized she only had the choice of the skimpy leaf n' twig bikini if she wanted 15K armor with an energy bonus.

Thats why I use Healing Touch and Healing Hands for my healing monk. *Touch*

thats one of the reasons im making Ranger FoW.

1) My ranger looked better in collectors/pre armor
2) I dislike 1.5k druids and hate 15k druids on females.

idk much about the looks of female armor, but personally I think the 15k druids armor is ugle. I tend to use droks druids with my ranger the most. When I want to support some style, I'm wear my 15k dragonscale since I think it's the best looking. I would vote the frost bound next in line, studded leather behind that and 15k druids just about last...

IMO the only 15k worth looking at on a female Ranger is the Frostbound. Again it's almost identical except for a strap or two on the leggings and more cleavage, but it doesn't look *worse* and still has some of that 15k status. Personally I've had Droknar's Forge Druid armor for my Ranger more or less since the game's release. No need to change it.

Mesmers and Warriors, now those are the classes where 15k really seems worth it

I really like the 15k male druids.... Seriously... And I think Frostbound is ugly as sin. Drake's is cool....but not so useful.

Only 15k warriors I like is platemail (for looks anyway), but I went and bought Glad's (more useful).

I think the worst 15k armor in the game is the monk's.

the ranger's 15k druids armor is the only armor that makes me think "ranger"
isnt that what aragon in lord of the rings was before he was king? reminds me of what he was wearing in the movies

Thats my current problem, share I work hard and go for FoW? Or shall I got the the cool armours in Chapt2?

15k druid. Just don't jump to FoW until some significant time later. Imagine if you got 15k for a week and then went to FoW, what a waste. Depends on what you do. I got 15k druid's, because I'm a marksman/interrupter, when farming, I'm a trapper. Energy bonus = a must if you use lots of energy skills.

If your going to buy a full set of 15k armor Go Druids FTW, and then dye it silver.

I am assuming the OP is talking about Male armor?

My personal favorite for looks and everyday use is Draks, dyed Orange.

I don't like the looks of 15K druids, but have a set for Trapping. It is so bulky looking and full of movement bugs (when you run the coat chops into the feet, or moves strangely)

If going druids I prefer 15K gloves and boots with a Droks druid chest piece. Not sure which legs. The look is much slimmer and streamlined and has better "flair"

I also don't like the silver dye on the 15K druids. That's what I have now and like it better than black but still not very happy with it. I need to find a new dye.

I go mainly for looks so I went 15k Drakescale dyed blue/green mix with 15k Druids for the legs dyed black.
