First of all warrior is pretty much the only class where you can go in and beat him with your standard setup, I know several people who do that. Secondly you are wrong when you say that using clever tactics/tricks to beat him does not help you become a better player. This is infact some of the same things you need to think of when you create builds on a higher lvl (I am a member of n0 and have created a couple of builds that we used with succes). The reason is that if you wanna gain an advantage over people because of your build, you have to think outside the box to create something new.
All in all I think its a pretty fun idea that forces you to use your imagination, and if you don't have any, you can always go to a forum and ask someone that has who can make a build for you.

I want to see a Warrior, or anyone for that matter, using the character outfitted exactly as they walked in, the skillbar they beat the three Ascension prequel missions with... I want to see them win. The guy is not your "mirror self" - he's uber just using your skillbar. You run fire down to 0 and stick incend bonds on for 10/1 and he's hitting you with it for 50. Mirror? Not. He does everything better... Mirror Self. Change the name.
So you cannot beat, uhm "Farrah Cappo's Dad" easily. Sure, we've got tricks to get him down... but they're tricks. You wouldn't walk into a guild skirmish carrying all the Ele attunes just to fill slots, would you? If you try to fight this fight, using normal tactics, it's highly unlikely you'll win. This clever skillbar rearrangement crap does not, in any way, help anyone become better GW players. So if you want to leave it as-is, that's fine. We know how to get around it. (... that's what we're doing, getting around it.)
So give the guy a name. Mirror Self. pfft.
I beat my mirror self first time in less then 2 minutes. Maybe it's becuase i'm a w/mo though, because it took me a couple tries on my mo/w.
