Raids in guild wars? HORSES?

Hello i have played guild wars for about half a month now. I have a w/mo lvl 16, and a r/elem lvl 13. I played WoW through one of those buddy passes things. After playing awhile, it got boring. That must be the biggest waste of money EVER!

Although the poor quests, and Boringness, there is some good in the game. I noticed there are Raids, and horses, mounts and things. It seems more Open-Ended. Bigger places to go ect.

Therefore i ask you if any of you know any future developments this game may have. Will they have town Raids (WOULD BE AWESOME) or mounts? Anything interesting to help me keep my optimism in this game?

EDIT* Also is it possible to tell me what a Guild War is actually like? I've been in so many arena's i kinda got bored. Is there anything new or different? THANKS!

Well,
I think mounts would be crazy. But, i have played WoW and SWG, and i loved the raids in both of those games. I would love if a place other than the Hall Of Heroes was available to have, shall i say "Guild Wars." Like, each island of guild halls be part of a larger faction, with its main town somewheres, and can be attacked, thus calling its members to arms, or something like that. Would be interesting to get the PvP going, tired of only fighting 8 on 8
