What mob drops this?
Sausaletus Rex
Mobs don't drop skills. However, they can be captured off of boss monsters. No one I know of has managed to locate a boss with Restore Conditions just yet, though. I'd check here and here because when someone does make it public, those're the most likely places to find it.

Unless you're planning on fighting a team that stacks conditions it just seems to be a little too specific to take as an elite. To save the elite slot you could take Draw Conditions and Mend Ailment in order to take conditions off of the target and then remove them off yourself. If you're pressed for skill slots, and you really want good enchantment removal, then it could be worth taking.

I remember seeing the monk boss with it on the 2nd last mission, where instead of going straight for the mission (fight the warrior and monk mursaat boss together) u walk off to the side and fight those creature roaming around.
although i forgot the boss's name... we found it because one of the group member were being incoporateive and running off by himself while we try to save his sorry behinde.

Apparently my post didn't catch one . Here goes again :
I - with an entire team - cleared entire Abbadon's mouth area yesterday and there was no dryder monk boss to be found in the entire island . We killed ALL enemies just to make sure: no monk-boss dryder .
As I said earlier .This is annoying in the extreme as "restore condition "is the only skill left for my monk to get .
You can't use faction to get it for PvE -usage as well , because :
* they upped the price of skills from 1000 to 3000 faction
* you can use the unlocked skill in PvP only.
They are probably expecting me to do the abbadon's mission about a zillion times before that boss happens to spawn .If this isn't an indication of them trying to KILL all enjoyment for PvE -players , I don't know what is .
The fun in playing the game is rapidly dwindling for me , because of these things .I'm not expecting bosses to spawn at the exact same location again again , but I DO expect them to spwan somewhere in the area so you can get a skill you are entitled to capture . What's the point for me doing that mission again and again else ??
I don't get any reward for it ( zero xp ) , drops are negligable , and I don't get what I was after : the skill.

Just go look for it again.
Missing a boss once isn't exactly something that you'd get mad about...
I tried to get Healing Hands and the Ettin boss didn't spawn. Instead of sitting down to whine and get annoyed, I took some henchies and went out again and found him. You should do the same.
Get over your little piece of bad luck and go again.

Any idea how long that mission is ? Not to mention trying to find a team??
It's ludicrous we need to do the same thing over and over just to get a skill ( while people playing PvP can unlock them with faction ) .

You do not have to do the whole mission in order to catch restore, do you?
I always thought that the spider bosses always spawn (not at the same location though). Am I confusing this mission with another one? This is the one with the bosses at the sea-shores, isnt it?
I had a pain finding the boss with obs flesh, tried that one about 15 times!!! Found that stupid ranger 14 times....but in the end, well
Back on topic: try again

It's ludicrous we need to do the same thing over and over just to get a skill ( while people playing PvP can unlock them with faction ) . Just thought I would mention, PVP players have to do the same thing over and over again to get the faction for that, its called PVP. There is just as big of a PVP grind to get something as there is of a PVE grind to get that same thing. Its much easier to cap every elite than it is to grind the faction for every elite. Getting a lvl 1 monk through the game takes maybe 40 hours, pretend it takes another 40 hours to actually go out and cap 75 or so elites that you get with the 5 or so per level when you dont really have anything else to do with the skill points. There is no way you could PVP your way into like 75 elites in 80 hours PVPing, it would take at least 150 GVGs, or basically 2 GVGs an hour every hour, with little to no time lost arranging groups, making sure the groups have all the necessary stuff covered, nobody has to log, nobody has to go spend faction. Yeah, ok. I ran a 4th player through the game just so I could get 8 useable skills going through the game quests and spend every single skill point on capping elites just to get around the above PVP pain in the a@@ness. I had to try *thrice* before Spindle Agonyvein actually spawned on this mission map. ^^
But now I have "Restore Condition"... at last! Well, at least with one of my 2 monk characters. Former Ruling
Restore isn't worth taking as your elite /right now/, not to say it isn't a great elite.
Right now the only spammed condition that matters in most builds is 'Blind'. (barring the deep wounds and bleeding from warriors). A Simple 'Mend Condition' therefore is enough. Against trapper teams, a 'Martyr' is good. Most teams right now either run dual Mend Conditions (so the monks can mend each other), or Draw Conditions used on a caster (this way is getting very popular). Phoenix Arrows
The hard part is getting a group to cap. Henchies don't work too well. I also have the bad luck of having the Monk boss spawn with the Warrior at the first boss location EVERY TIME.
Restore Condition is used a lot in Heroes' Ascent for the third Monk that's the Boon-Prot. Called "RC BoonProt". |
