PvP Character Creation

Are PvP only characters restricted to 2 weapons slots when you create the character? If so this is kind of annoying because untill now I have mainly used my PvE for PvP and I like to use the 4 slots.

On casters I like to use a set up like this:
1. Wand/Focus
2. Wand/Focus +15energy -1regen
3. Wand +15 energy -1 regen / Focus +15 energy -1 regen
4. empty (for E drains ect)

is this possible?

Look at the bottom of of your Inventory (press 'I'), and click 'weapon slots'.

By default PvP characters have only 2 activated, because you can only get 2 'free' weapons when you roll the character.

I am aware you can switch to 4 slots after creation, I wanted to know if you could increase the default "free" weapons to 4.

This disappoints me a little.

Yeah, you can still use the 4 weapon slots, but you can only get 2 sets of weapons at PvP character creation. My advice is to go get the PvE collector versions of whatever equipment you want and export it over to your PvP characters.

Even though you only get 2 weapon sets when you start a character, you can still mix and match them in any way you please. In your example you would still be able to have all of your sets since you reuse the items. You are SoL if you want to have 4 weapon sets that don't mix and match at all, but that is a little extreme as it is. I generally only use 2 sets, very rarely 3. Since I use the extra mouse buttons I can only flip through 2 sets quickly though so I generally limit it to 2 - high energy low energy. (usually a shield and a regular focus, if I need more than 12 I may have a +15/-1 or just the focus with nolani fire wand)

Problem with that is that you can't customize PvE weapons for PvP characters.
