best STRENGTH collector's shield? is there one?

Alright, I see "most" people running around with the crimson carapace shield you can get from the collector right outside camp rankor. But that shield is for tactics.

My question, is there a collector's shield anywhere thats max and uses strength?

That isnt a collector shield, but its a green that only drops from 1 guy in 1 variation (which is pretty much a collector shield)

Put simply, no, there are no collectors Shields which require Strength, at any stage in the game. So your only options are the Green shield ^above, or going for a vewwy expensive Gold replica, if you want perfect stats.

collector options aren't very varied, and for some reason in their wisdom they also left crafting a shield off the table as an option, though focii are there.

(ie why not have a drok str shield at the weapon crafters - focii there...)

I agree with this. You should be able to craft a shield.

For strength I prefer Victo's Bulwark, again, not a collector's but there aren't any good collectors for strength

victo's bulwark is by far the best str based shield that is somewhat humanly possible to obtain.

Tanzit's defender is a cheaper alternative

both perform fine, although +30HP always is a very nice mod to have

A guildie picked up a eternal sheild strength based in FOW last week with a htlh mod all the time on it. that was nice wish that would be more common. the 3 I use have requirements on them i.e. in stance, enchanted & while hexed. The while hexed comes in nice from time to time, obviously.

All eternal shields are strength req.
