What now??

I just watched the searing of Ascalon. But none of the missions i choose say "main quest" on them! Is it completely open-ended from here? I thought there was a drawn-out story.

no the quests you are getting are actually all optional from what i know. The actual missions like the Great Northern Wall are what keeps you on with the story.

Although it's worth noting that the quests help to fill in background and current story elements very well.

to enter the mission click the 'enter mission' button that exists in the Party[P] window.

also each 'Main Story Quest' as I call them, also has a second Bonus quest. keep an eye out for them on each quest as it gives you an extra 1000xp

I know these are a few facts that took me a bit to realise

The Snowman

Go to the Northern Wall. You should have gotten a quest telling you to go talk to ___ person at the great northern wall. This is where the rest of the story begins. Join in with A group, or form one yourself and then hit "Enter Mission".

The Main Missions will no longer show up on your quest log as "Primary" until you have "Entered" them. They are all strung together as well and the best part.. they are interactive.

You start at the Wall, as you do that mission > You will end at the begining of the second.. so on and so fourth. If you continue to follow.. You will get the "how" of the game

Eventually you WILL once again have "Primary Missions" that are without the "enter into the mission". Such as now. I am currently at Beacon's Perch. There is no "Enter Mission" instead I need to take out 6 patrols and lead a group to someone else. This will take me to my next point in the story line... and so on and so fourth from there.

Still - You will get tons and tons of secondary quests along the way... there is tons to explore..
