How much energy should an average healing monk have?
my monk has 43. Is that pretty low? Should I get her naked and put on more body tattoos?
Monk Energy Level
Xonic
Omega Complex
IT all depends, how much armor vs. how much energy? My monk primary has 2 sets of armor, one cloth with tats for head and arms, and the other all tats. Obviously with the tats you will have more energy, which is great for the spam healing builds ect.. However if your going to be taking some damage, then I would go with the judges set.
My monks energy runs between 42 and 46 depending on the items/staffs im holding.

I pretty much always go with the energy and have about 53?
30 = base
8 = tats
15 = staff
Does that sound right, haven't paid much attention for a long time.
There is the armor that has +5 vs elemental and base armor. Conditional and less energy.
There is the armor that has +10 vs physical but -energy. Again conditional and less energy.
I'd rather have the energy to put up another heal or 2 or otherwise offset the damage being done.

It's pretty standard for a monk in pve to wear all tatoos. The monks should be staying in back so they won't take damage anyways. In PVP it's a good idea to have 1 piece of judges, since you'll be the primary target.

i have tats on my feet and hands and sacred on chest and legs. with the yakslapper i got 47.
i'd like 5 more but shit those tats are ugly.
i use OoB however and don't really think about it.
i try to stay in the back but there is ALWAYS at least one meathead that feels like running me across the battlefield.

About 40 is what you should be at.
I usually run arm/leg tats for +2 and a +10 staff.
