Quest Auto-Party
MoMan
I'm not sure if this has been suggested (prolly. has), but after searching I couldn't find it so here we go. I believe that an automated party generation system for quests and missions would greatly add to the game by reducing the time it takes to find a party along with the related frustration. How it would work: In town, whenever you get a quest, you can open the quest log and see a 'form party' button next to the quest name. When you click this button, the system registeres you in that town, as wanting to do that quest. When you click the button, another window pops up, with a list of people who are in that town/outpost who also want to do the quest (this list could possibly span districts, but maybe not). From there you can select people from the list who'm you want to join your party (granted these people will need to confirm that they want to join) or click a randomize button who will assign you and other people who have clicked it to a party to do the quest. Granted the randomize option is not ideal (eg. a party might be formed without a monk or similar) but the system probably could use some algorthim to make sure party's are most diverse profession-wise. Even if it does not implement this algo., for quick n' easy quests this random system wouldn't be that bad. Granted there may be issues when you want to do multiple quests in one run, but this system would atleast give you another option other than sitting in town for 1/2 an hour shouting "LFG for quest abc". Positive and negative feedback on this suggestion is welcome.

I like this, I think something along the lines of this had been suggested a couple of days ago, but it didn't include the random generator. I think it sounds cool.

/signed - I live and die by pugs. This would make forming parties so much easier.

Mainly because of my mild dislike for PUGs, but that's just me.
