Golden Mursaat Garments?

I recived Mursaat Garments, gold color, unidentified, so i identified it. And i got a message saying "unlocked rune of major vigor". and the garments changed name into mursaat garments of major vigor. what does that "unlock" message means? i didnt recive anything... or is it saying what i will get when i craft it?

This means that you unlocked the Rune of Major Vigor for use in the PVP character creation screen. If you create a new character that's PVP only, you will now find that rune there available for use. You can use an Expert Salvage Kit on the Mursaat Garments in order to possibly salvage a Rune of Major Vigor from it, which will either become available in your current character's inventory or it will salvage regular materials from it. The "unlocked" message means you have now unlocked the ability to give any PvP characters you create the ability to use a rune of major vigor whenever you want. Normally when you create a PvP character you only have a limited few number of skills, items, etc. that you can equip them with, but as you unlock things they are added to this list of choices.

Now you have to use an expert salvage kit on that item and hope it turns into a rune of major vigor, which you can use or trade for a lot of gold.

will it be one-time-use only in pvp or do i have it forever?

Yes, one of the little bumps in the game. You have a better chance to pull something out of an unidentified item (rune, bowgrip, axe haft, etc.) if you don't identify it first.

Which means you could end up with 10 bolts of cloth and not have opened the major vigor rune for your pvp only characters.

wow that's pretty unlucky, did you use an expert salvage kit?
