DOES HIGHER SWORDSMAnSHIP.....
remus longblade
mean that you do more dmg with sword if you go over req?
Guillaume De Sonoma
Yes it does or at least that is what should happen
Savio
So long as you meet the requirement, the requirement doesn't affect damage. With a 16 Sword attribute, you do the same damage with a req 8 sword and a req 13 sword. You'll do more damage with 16 in Swords than 12 in Swords.

Why a req 7 sword is worth so much when you need 12 to do 100% damage anyway is beyond me...

I think some1 sorted this out AGES ago, it's somewhere around here, he did 1 attack with a req 7, req 10 and req 12 and used a skill which causes critical hit all the time, dmg was the same.

Hm?.. woah, never knew that... but regardless, one's ability with a linked skill is still effected.

Well obviously damage goes up when you put more attributes in, look at the skills and notice a damage increase such as +16/+18 etc but the normal damage wont go up when your not using skills unless you max

Just go to the new training area and hack around on one of the 60 armor dummies. As you do this hit H and add one attribute at a time and watch to see if you damage goes up. This will show you.
