Yes and no.


It will run, but you will have to run it on the lowest possible graphics setting. Other than your video card, you system is more than capable of running Guild Wars.

Make sure you get atleast a 9800 Pro. Do not get say a X600/700. I would recommend a X800/850 or the Nvidia equilivant.

It will run it. Before I got my new computer. I ran GW on a 1.7ghz 512mb RAM, radeon something, which was 4-7 years old. It was very lag yet it ran.

With my new computer, 3.4ghz, 1gig RAM, ATI X600,, it runs perfect. The x600 is more than enough for GW, I currently play half life 2, WoW, GW. Never had any lag problems or complained of any graphic card problem.

I've ran GW on i believe AMD AthlonXP it was either 256 or 512mb RAM and on nVidia geforce 4 MX graphics... it worked fine apart from the occasional lag in Tombs. Strangely enough i could also play half-life 2.. i don't know how that worked though.
