Getting Rid of a Pet

Ok, I used Charm Animal on a Moa Bird, you know, just for fun, but now I can't seem to get rid of it... There is a quest I would like to do that requires me to use Charm Animal on a Melandru's Stalker, but I cannot use Charm Animal while I still have a pet. I have tried everything to get rid of the pet, including getting it killed, but it keeps coming back...

Could someone help me with this? It is a bit annoying...

look for NPCs with a [Tamer] tag. they "collect" animals, or so they say.

there is a tamer right next to the ranger who gave you charm animal

I just got rid of it. I used the tamer right at the entrance to Ascalon from Old Ascalon.

Where they humain to the pet? I wanna know...

I think they talked about a rish guy somewhere that like to collect animals or so he say.

perhaps he is raising an army with all oure high level pets who knows

I think that quest may be buggy. I went to the Ranger with my own Stalker and he considered the quest complete and I still have the stalker. It is weird because you can't charm an animal while you still have one...so supposedly you have to get rid of your animal first. My other Ranger had given her warthog away and I equipped Charm Animal but I never got an animal and the quest was still considered finished.
