Dwarven Ale.

Yeah.

I picked up a vial of RED DYE outside of Fort Ranik while helping someone out, then later when we got back to Frontier Gate, I gave him the RED DYE, when he got it, it was called "Dwarven Ale", he used it, and I guess drank it.

Now, I have yet to see this stuff with my own eyes, but I've seen others mention it but not go into detail, ideas?

Hunter's Ale (maybe Dwarven Ale) is a silly reward you get from six drunken men standing in a circle, for killing a black bear in under 2 minutes or so. It's a consumable item, and gives a 'drunken' feel to your view, a very nicely done shifting blur/distortion that can seriously make you feel dizzy. Even though it looks like red dye, it isn't.

ha ha ha..i remember that mission. since this game is a one handed affair, i can use the other hand to tip the bottle to lip...the blur/distortion I thought was me 8^P
