say some one runs a mission ......and another person doesnt pay...n i report themm......whuts the penalty for not payin for a run or w.e

What's the penalty?

Not paying for a run = Scam
Scam = Suspended from GW
Suspended time stacks up each time you commit a foul.

For Example
1st offense: 48 hours
2nd offense 168 hours
3rd offense: 10000000 hours

And so on.
Remember that those are not the exact times and can be manipulated by how severe the offense was.

It may seem like they aren't doing anything but the offenses stack up. Even though they don't get suspended the first time, they may be suspended the next time.

Just pray that the scammer scams another person that reports the scammer.

I've reported a few people that have tried to scam me (and others with the bait-and-switch trick, they're infamous in ToA), but it appears as if nothing really is being done since they keep coming back.

The best thing would be to take screenshots of the whole transaction and send them to Anet when you report the scammer. Sad thing I've reported the same guy twice (with screenies) who played the switch trick on me every time; he is a well known scammer in Euro districts, switchin Malinon's shield and razorstone for crappy items. Well, his account is still active.... dunno what else to do with him... pretty sure i'm not the only one who reported him but still.... That makes me kinda sad.

Well, I don't approve running so I see this as going to police blaming someone broke the window in your stolen car... pointless.

Except in this 'country', the Police have said, loudly, that 'stealing cars' is not against the law, whereas 'breaking car windows' is.

I'm also sure that if Anet didn't like runners they could easily block routes to Droks or sanctum etc.

Scammers are scum, report them every chance you get and try to get SS.

for all you know the sceenshot suspended them, so they jumped on another computer and another account.

sure, get a trade thingy for running...
as far as i am concerned, running should be done for free...that's what i did on my w/r, back in the days droknar's run was easier

when running get everyone to show you before the run that they have the payment that u need. Take SS's of: the trade box with thier money in, an example of speach showing they know to pay you and when to pay, and a shot of your speech telling all the customers what to pay and when to pay it.

Thats the best evidence u can give when one scams. I know it takes ages but of theres no scam just delete them all after each run.
