Green Weapons?

I think they just added these, because I played guild wars all through the beta and for the first few months it was out, and I never saw a green item. I am just now getting back into guild wars (as you can see by my join date and Professor member status) and I dont know what a green item is. What are they? How do you get them? Whats special about them?

Fixed max attributes/skin, and can't be upgraded.

It's probably also worth mentioning that they only drop from specific bosses after whom they're named. These guys are found in Sorrow's Furnace and the old Tomb of Primeval Kings, which has been converted to a PvE dungeon with the creation of Hero's Ascent to replace it. Both of those are most likely new to you if you've just gotten back into the game again and don't yet know what a green item is.

To my knowledge, green items have been out 5 or 6 months. You must of took alot of time off.

green items werent here but since the SF update, till now. maybe it started october or november cant remember.
