What is difference between Skull/Skeleton Shield?

Just wondering since i get hundreds of near max dmg kull shileds and some skeleton shileds, some gold but crap gold, so i was wondering what is the difference? The skin looks the same...

They are the same, it's just really hard to find a max armor skull shield since they normally drop in some of the lower level areas.

They drop low level shield...from griffons...
