I was wondering what good it is to have a "Poisonous" axe haft. Are there any skills for an axe that inflict poison damage? I haven’t seen one yet, but then again I'm still fairly new to the game, so please don’t flame me, I’m not saying there isn’t one. I was just curious if I should maybe replace it with a Cruel haft or something like that. I actually have a few skills that inflict a deep wound. Also, I don’t have any poisonous skills; does my axe lengthen the poison duration on an enemy if the actual poisoning is done by another character? I.e. A ranger shoots a poison arrow at an enemy & poisons that creature. Would my hitting that creature still lengthen the poison duration? Thanks for your help guys.
Poisonous Axe Skills???

No, you hitting it won't lengthen poison duration. It really only works with the Ranger preparation "Apply Poison."

If you play a W/R you can use the apply poison skill and your axe attacks will then poison the opponent.

My character is a W/E, so i guessing the poisonous haft is useless??

LOL This topic reminds me, last night I went and did some earlier missions with my W/R, using axes & apply poison. Somebody asked if someone was using poison arrow, to which I replied "No, but I am using Poison Axe "
One of the newbs says "That's an elite skill"
I didn't have the heart to correct him.

Well, don't forget you can eventually change your secondary profession... I won't give away where since it might spoil it for you.

Or you decide to change to a W/R after you finish the paths quests. I always try to keep a couple varieties of weapons for a particular build I might be using.
