this same happened to me the other day in tombs, but it went away when we zoned

4. i zoomed out and in as far as i could.. didnt help at all

hit f11 and in the options, you can customize layout..Make things bigger, prob just cutting it off.

Or set the screen size to small or, medium...

Do you mean over players heads in the cities??? I think, like you said, only show up in mission towns. And only if the player isn't in a group already.

Can you post a screenshot of the problem? I think I know what you are talking about, but a screenshot would clarify this.
