Prophecies To Factions Quest

As will all my suggestions feedback is welcome.

As Arena Net said, GW players who buy factions will be able to use their Prophecies characters in Faction areas. When hearing this I questioned how people who purchase Faction will be able to travel to the new content. Will there simply be a new city on the map which the players can travel to? I think it would be neat if there were a few Sea based quests which prophecies players can get to Faction areas and vice versa. (of course after these quests are complete, the new areas would appear on your map and you could warp to them anytime). How they would work: So lets say you start off at a port, Lions Arch for example. You would run onto a ship and be transported to the 'Lion Arch Harbor' mission area where you form a group and start your journey on this ship. During the mission / your voyage (everything takes place on the ship, consistent with GW type of gameplay), events may occur such as encountering and fighting pirates, dragons, and ghost ships. The journey could even be split up into multiple quests and missions by having a few stops at town/outpost islands between the two continents.

Obviously unless it is already done, it would be impossible for Arena net to pull this off before an April release, but they could possibly add these areas and a free upgrade, much like Sorrows Furnace was. Anyways, thanks for reading.

Lol, nevermind. I just read this in the FAQ. I hope they make it a mission or two and not just a cutscene.

How do I get to Cantha?

Players who own both Factions and Guild Wars can travel by boat between the two continents through Lion's Arch or Seitung Harbor.

It sure would have been cool to have had something like that...to kind of get our heads around the fact it's a whole new adventure. Being on a ship doing a mission going to Cantha would build up suspense as you eagerly await arrival in the new continent

However, sadly, I guess it really is already done and this isn't something that is included in the game...oh well, I think I can still live with it as long as it's more Guild Wars

It probably wont even be a cutscene. It will probably just be the ship you see now by Lions Arch.

A mission to get to Cantha would be great though. Then once you've done the mission it lets you freely travel back and forth by boat.
