lets say if an gold axe has 23+hp base mod. If i expert salvage that, will i get the upgrade?

Although it's not proven, there is an approximate 33% chance to get a mod off of a weapon. So, the answer is that you have a 33% chance to get the mod, or a 67% chance of getting some nice steel ignots.

i also found for some reason maybe its just for me but if you have like 5 or less uses left in a expert salvage kit they seem to always fail and give you materials ensted of the mod unless its a rune your trying to get but maybe thats just my luck with 5 or less uses
