Glads or Plate?

Ok here is my thing. i have looked on the forums on both. i have found this general statement to be pretty much all i see for glads "if you want more energy" So here is my question. with glads armor level at 80 and plate at 85. witch armor gives the most physical protection? because glads has 20 against physical and i think plate mail has 10...now i have a warrior with full plate armor, knights gauntlets and sup abs and vig runes. now if switching to glads will gimme a greater armor level. then i will farm ettins till there is no tommarow getting my runes then buy and run glads .. but if the difference its not that big.. then i wont bother.

If all you are gna do is ettin farming, stick to your current armor, platemail is not better at taking physical hits than gladiator, but its only a 5% difference. Take gladiator ONLY if you have energy trouble. (like if you are a runner, or if you use many energy based skills)
But buying a glads armor for the +5% armor vs ettins, is just silly in my opinion..

glad armor gives you an extra +5 armor vs. physical. it has 80 base armor and +20 vs. physical (100), while plate has 85 base armor +10 vs. physical (95). so, against physical damage, you would have extra armor along with extra energy. for all other types of damage, plate is better.

If your female, go Glad. (FEMALE NUDITY FTW)

If your male, go Plate. (I hate looking at a naked warrior running around in Glads)

Glads- chest,legs,feet
Knights-hands
Helm that will most benefit you're build-axe,strength,tatics ect.....

Remember, the armor is only where you get hit, the total ammount doesn't matter, the place you get hit most often is chest, then I believe legs. So this may help guide you in your decision.
