Annoying Healing Sig bug.. (Head Explodes)
X of Thulcandra
So I am running to Droks, I meet a very bad spawn at the beginning (golems, avicara, imps, and pinesouls, all in a nice big happy bunch), escape by a thread (1 hp). Mind you, I had NO hexes/conditions on me at all, and the natural regen was beginning to kick in. I am clear of them, and I use the healing signet, right when it should heal me, I die. This has happened before, I have seen people die trying to use resurrection signets too. Any thoughts?

My thoughts are that this isn't so much a suggestion as a complaint, and that you probably should've made a bug report instead.

Were you using Endure/Defy Pain or any other health boosting effects (+ health focus or whatever)? If so, that was probably it. Things that modify your maximum HP make it possible for you to have negative HP once they wear off, due to the fact that these health buffers affect both your max and current HP. Your health bar will show up as having 1 hp, but in reality your health is in the negative and even a 0 damage attack will kill you. An unfortunate side effect of this is that you can actually kill yourself through healing, if the heal doesn't bring your HP back above 0.

Oh, that. God, I HATE that thing.
Everytime I get stuck at 1 when I use Aura of the Lich, an angel's face rots off. They need to do that some other way.

just treat them like morrowinds fortify<health> potions ^^
try not to use em lol....or maybe they should add...
[WARNING! use of this skill can cause explosions of the cranium region and the unexpected demise of unwary players with low healing skill]

because it take you into minus numbers....
this is why folks used to die on morrowind when the potion stopped working
so, you have for example 200hp....you chugged a potion of fortify health and gained an extra 50 hp...so in theory, you had 250hp.
then you get your skiny as whooped by a critter and it takes a whopping 220hp off you befor you kill it....ok, you fine, you got 250, right?
wrong, you have 200 with a 50 extra that only lasts till the pot wears off, so when it does, you loose 30hp that you dont realy have....it takes you to -30...and whammo, your dead.
same thing if your using endure pain and dont heal enough to take you aout of the -hp that the dammage might have added...assuming those minotaurs that love to use endure all the time let it wear off, and me being a necro, i suck maybe a good 30hp fom them. if they lost too much, my vamp gaze just makes them loose health that isnt realy there once the skill wears off...
*this is the reason that seasoned players of morrowind games sell fortify heath and mana potions and never use them lol...once you have done it and dies in the most stupid of ways, you never want to do it again ^^..however, fort health ect pots are good for making cash with and upping your alchemy skill, so its not all bad hehe*

I'm guessing it's like trying to heal with Scourge Healing on, in a sense.
Your health has dropped below 0, and the sudden increase in health from Healing Sig causes it to update itself, realizing that you're below 0, so it kills you off before the ACTUAL healing takes place.
